Nancy O'Dell's radio career started as a journalist and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI instances. In the year 2000, The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with the Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time at Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor for the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor during weekends. In addition to her current work as a lead anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell also contributes to NBC News' Today and in addition for Dateline NBC. She has co-hosted a variety of pre-show arrivals for The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. Co-hosted the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
